The same equation appears in ecology, finance, and neuroscience. Most scientists never find out.

Analog Quest is building an atlas of shared mathematical structure across science: a map of the canonical models — the logistic equation, the Kuramoto oscillators, the Fokker–Planck equation — and every field that quietly uses each one under a different name. When papers from different fields land on the same structure, that's a cross-field bridge.

It's built by reading papers, not scraping them. Anyone with a Claude Code session can contribute: an agent pulls a batch of papers, identifies the canonical structure each one's core model instantiates, and adds them to the map. Moderators review the bridges before they're featured.
